That salad reminds me of one I had at Lambert’s (Sikeston, MO) over Christmas. We held it up, and sure enough it was definitely bigger than my head.
Good salads in LA? Hmmm…let me think on that…

There is a place called salads 2000 in downtown LA, lots of choices and all the ones i’ve tried are good
downstairs of the arco towers

Gelson’s in Pasadena has a good selection in their salad bar. Best I’ve actually seen.
